Metal door sets manufactured from prime quality stretcher cold formed steel sheet to ASTM A527 ASTM A 525, JISG 3302/1994, BS 2989. Door frame pressed from 1.5 mm thick galvanized steel sheet with mitered & welded construction.

Hinge reinforcement for either 1 pair or1 ½ pair of hinges manufactured from 4mm thick steel plate and welded to the frame.

Door Leaf manufactured from 1mm thick galvanized steel sheet lock formed edges. Insulated and bonded with infill of honeycombed paper core forming a rigid flush fitting stress free level leaf that will withstand high levels of duty without failure.

Innovative flush double glazed 400x800mm vision panels available constructed of vacuum sealed 6mm clear toughened glass units.

Finished in Polyester powder coating of 60/80 microns forming a smooth surface finish.

Types

GMP Metal Doorsets are specifically tailored to the requirements of the market with special attention being paid to the use of galvanised steel throughout.

GMP Metal Doorsets are available in different configurations to satisfy the client’s requirements. In addition to single leaf and double leaf frames, with removable overpanels, borrowed light and glazing can be introduced.

GMP Commercial Door

High duty general purpose meta doorsets are available in sizes up to 2600mm wide double doorsets and 3000 mm high.

Capable of accepting glazing in many configurations with air vents, louvers and a wide range of hardware. Finish coated in primer or epoxy polyester powder paint as standard.

GMP Fire Door

Available in fire resistant levels from 30 minutes up to 2 hours all tested to BS 476 Part 22. These doorsets can be made in very large sizes with options for glazing, fire resistant self closing louvers, single or double doorsets, optional fixed overpanels and optional temperature rise (insulation) configurations.

GMP Secure Door

Special attention is paid to construction details and the addition of security hinges, multi-point locks, reinforced laminated cores and high security glazing which produces a range of secure doorsets that are suitable for high security applications. The level of protection required will determine the degree of sophistication of construction.

GMP Acoustic Door

By the introduction of special linings, seals and structurally bonded cores, a high level of sound reduction can be achieved. Consult the design office for further information.
